Facebook has just added "Likes" box for profile

While I was checking my Facebook today morning, found that it has added a list of pages and contents I've liked under a new box named Likes on right side bar. Box has been set as default, that mean you can't remove it. But there are options to control it's visibility among the community.

Facebook new like box

Likes box shows how many pages I've liked & from those 3 random pages are highlighted.  On addition to this, I must mention that, Facebook is recently removing 3rd party application supplied profile boxes from profile to make "more user friendly interface" of profile. I don't disagree. Many profile's are seen loaded with boxes of different applications which are quite boring and makes profile loading slow. But I'm sure some people going to miss few boxes by some awesome applications.

By putting Likes box on the profile, facebook surely want's people get involved more with pages and liking contents globally (I've noticed that it don't only show pages I've liked inside facebook, but quotas I've liked outside too!). As Facebook like buttons are getting constantly popular through out the web, no doubt Facebook will like to put it on users profile in a more interactive way. Guess what, probably that's a part of their awesome business strategy.

Update: Just while visiting friends profile, Found that you can see the mutual likes with your friends or any facebook user too!

Seems to me, Facebook is rolling with its new Likes box quite nicely..
